Captain Tony’s Saloon, Greene St., Key West.
The building, built in 1852, originally housed the city morgue. Later it housed Sloppy Joe’s and was frequented by Ernest Hemingway. Two decades after Sloppy Joe’s moved to its current location, the bar opened as Captain Tony’s Saloon,where Jimmy Buffet got his start playing for tequila.
